Time To Be Flashy, Gold Diggers.

That's what he said...

We know you're trying to get that fresh tan for the weekend. Make sure you have the right gear to go with it. Everyone loves the hints of gold in your wardrobe that accentuate those golden cheekbones. Studio 54 clubbers, and Beyonce wanna-be's aren't the only ones who get to be flashy this season.

Rock the boat gold you little divas and hustlas' in the making.

In all seriousness though, gold really looks amazing on almost everyone! It makes you look expensive, and everyone should love to look expensive even if you're NOT!
(Note to reader: interpret this however you'd like, haha!)

Now White It Out, Now Chalk It Out.

White is major for summertime. Fill your closet with it! Go beyond a crisp plain white t-shirt and try something with an asymmetrical shape or with a zipper. You can also try wearing your white pieces together:

  • White jeans, white top, colored blazer
  • White bathing suit, white sandals, white watch
  • White shorts, white cardigan, white sunglasses
  • White dress, white shoes, lucite jewelry

Ladies, try incorporating white accessories with your white outfit. Skip the LBD and go for the LWD. Compliment your look with super trendi lucite jewelry... you'll get so many compliments!

Annalynne McCord knows how to white it out: matching  top and denim pants. This outfit is paired with a contrast tan blazer and heels.

SJP also spotted in white head to toe: off the shoulder athletic pullover and white jeggings. The perfect outfit to run errands or just lounge.

Hombres, go all out with white and make a statement. You too can wear white accessories, such as suspenders, headphones, and ankle socks.
Try a white v-neck and show off that tan chest of yours, or wear a sophisticated yet casual white cotton cardigan. Last but not least, its summer so get yourself a nice pair of white kicks... and of course, keep them clean.

Try Not To Whip Out Your Glow Sticks

Who says you need glow sticks in order to wear neon?! We know you've been seeing the excessive amount of neon pieces that designers came out with for their Summer 2010 collections. Designers like Jimmy Choo, Marc Jacobs, Dolce and Gabanna  etc. are attacking these trends and making it their own.

Try adding some of these pieces to your wardrobe. We love it!
Marc by Marc Jacobs Standard Supply Tote $188 nordstroms.com Timex Rainbow Watch $73 julesb.co.uk Necessary Objects Neon Dress $59 bluefly.com DKNY Silk Dress $90 theoutnet.com Juicy Couture Chain Necklace $102 zappos.com CC Skye Clash Bracelet $150 zappos.com Marc by Marc Jacobs Bangles $28 nordstroms.com

Trendinations' insight on wearing neon trends is use dramatic pieces to accent. Refrain from looking like your going to rave. Use your inner intuition to choose the right pieces for you and your wardrobe.

This may be a little bit out of your budget, but either way it's always fun to look at!

Designers who are all about the neon craze this summer...

Tumi Colorblock Nylon Satchel $295 www.openingceremony.us

UPDATE YOUR FLORALS.

Beautiful summer days and nights call for pretty little things.

Florals have been so major... and we still love them!

Be creative with this trend. Unless you're in West Palm Beach, there's no need to be matchy matchy with a single print or color scheme . Try mix and matching flowery prints with stripes to create a funky look. Or wear cropped tops to make a cute outfit look sexy. You can make your prettiest dress look bad with chunky bangles, or even tone it down with a pair of high top sneakers. We also love pearls over a loose t-shirt with denim shorts (it's a good idea to have a cheap faux set).

Hat $48 urbanoutfitters.com, dress $50 topshop.com, rings $8.80 missselfridge.com, striped top $24 topshop.com, necklace $30 topshop.com, overalls $27.90 forever21.com , floral top $50 topshop.com, shorts $16 forever21,com, faux pearl bracelets $8.50 oldnavy.com, Jeffrey Campbell pink suede flats $96 lorisshoes.com, Bensimon sneakers $71 gravitypope.com, Daisy Perfume by Marc Jacobs, crossbody/clutch $50 topshop.com

How will you wear florals?

Iridescent Maddness.

Growing up we could wear sparkley nail polish, sequin headbands, and just anything that shimmered and shined. As we get older, it's not exactly appropriate nor tasteful, unless you're in Miami or it's Mardi Gras. However this trend has been lurking around lately, and we've become increasingly curious as to how to accept some of this iridescent glam.

Headband $28 freepeople.com, Iridescent Pocket Tank $19.80 forever21.com, Harajuka Studs $26 karmaloop.com, DuWop Moon Venom $17 sephora.com, Deux Lux Bucket Bag $94 shopnastygal.com, Toywatch $250 nordstroms.com, Essie - Main Squeze $5.59 justbeautydeals.com, House of Harlow Necklace $179 shopthetrendboutique.com, Dr. Martens $120 drmartens.com, Snake Necklace $82 shopcurious.com, Carlos Falchi Tote $220 shopkitson.com, American Apparel Dolman Sleeve Hoodie $29 americanapparel.net

ABOUT THE BEAUTY PRODUCTS:

DuWop Moon Venom is lip pluming gloss with an iridescent shine. Your lips will enlarge to a luscious opalescent pout, especially great for nighttime.

Essie Main Squeeze is from the new 2010 Wedding Collection. Get a few coats of it alone, or top it onto a neutral for an extra perk of trendi lavender and iridescence.

On the couture end, iridescent pieces stand out and are extremely playful. Celebrities Kim Kardashian and Whitney Port have already stepped into this trend. (For the record, we are on team Whitney... sorry Olivia).

We also found some designer shoes and accessories to share with you: Jimmy Choo flats, Alexander McQueen wrap bracelet, Guiseppe Zanotti pumps.

Get the idea? We're not too old.

We Still Love Peplums.

If you're what Sir-mix-a-lot refers to as "baby got back", you may hesitate to try this trend. However be brave and perhaps you will be pleasantly surprised. A peplum style is simply a skirt attached to a garment. A dress or skirt underneath is usually fitted, which differs from a tiered style which can be overly voluminous. Therefore, a peplum gives off a more subtle tiered effect, which can be feminine, sexy, and flattering.

Here are some day to night options that are great spring wardrobe additions.

Blue floral $61 Coggles.com, Black and blue floral $62 Shopnastygal.com, Grey faux leather skirt $22 Forever21.com, Pink skirt $29 Forever21.com

This look is not just for those who are super skinny, so test it out . We're not telling you to believe us, it's only our intuition that this may be your new favorite look. Simply keep it in mind when you're shopping for a new skirt or dress. If you see a peplum style, think about Trendination and use your intuition.

Tribe It On.

If you like color and patterns, this trend is something to try. DVF, Cynthia Vincent, and House of Harlow are some of the many brands you can find that offer tribal inspired pieces. It can definitely come off loud with too much of the print, but it can also be fun and tasteful. We see a lot of beading, woven leather, suede, and cropped tops, that will add some flavor to your closet. Below is a mix of tribal inspired accessories, shoes, and clothing for you to try.

Scarves $32 Nordstroms.com, Red Dolman Sleeve Hoodie $29 Americanapparel.net, White Sandal $90 Stevemadden.com, Headband $41 Shopbop.com, Beaded Bracelet $28 Nordstroms.com, Silk Shorts $145 Shopbop.com, Patterned Wedges $30 Cynthia Vincent for Target (at stores only), Cropped Top $32 Karmaloop.com, Yellow Crossbody $61 Asos.com
