Iridescent Maddness.

Growing up we could wear sparkley nail polish, sequin headbands, and just anything that shimmered and shined. As we get older, it's not exactly appropriate nor tasteful, unless you're in Miami or it's Mardi Gras. However this trend has been lurking around lately, and we've become increasingly curious as to how to accept some of this iridescent glam.

Headband $28 freepeople.com, Iridescent Pocket Tank $19.80 forever21.com, Harajuka Studs $26 karmaloop.com, DuWop Moon Venom $17 sephora.com, Deux Lux Bucket Bag $94 shopnastygal.com, Toywatch $250 nordstroms.com, Essie - Main Squeze $5.59 justbeautydeals.com, House of Harlow Necklace $179 shopthetrendboutique.com, Dr. Martens $120 drmartens.com, Snake Necklace $82 shopcurious.com, Carlos Falchi Tote $220 shopkitson.com, American Apparel Dolman Sleeve Hoodie $29 americanapparel.net

ABOUT THE BEAUTY PRODUCTS:

DuWop Moon Venom is lip pluming gloss with an iridescent shine. Your lips will enlarge to a luscious opalescent pout, especially great for nighttime.

Essie Main Squeeze is from the new 2010 Wedding Collection. Get a few coats of it alone, or top it onto a neutral for an extra perk of trendi lavender and iridescence.

On the couture end, iridescent pieces stand out and are extremely playful. Celebrities Kim Kardashian and Whitney Port have already stepped into this trend. (For the record, we are on team Whitney... sorry Olivia).

We also found some designer shoes and accessories to share with you: Jimmy Choo flats, Alexander McQueen wrap bracelet, Guiseppe Zanotti pumps.

Get the idea? We're not too old.
